Planning a women's MTB skill based ride tomorrow exit Tuesday 7 May at Bunya. Ride start (be ready to ride) at 610am-745am ish at James Drysdale Recreation reserve—top carpark. Shouldn't need lights. PM me if you can make it. Have a few starters already.

Hi Anna

Will have to miss this week as broke my hanger on the derailleur with a stick yesterday in the race at Dirtfest  :( ....hopefully fixed for the Maxxis next weekend.

Have a great ride tomorrow.

That's a rockin idea AB, I am keen as to get some help with my XC skills. My confidence on the bike is way down at the moment and I would like the chance to hit the trails with a few other women.

Was stoked to have about ten women racing alongside me at the EMS gravity enduro race. Super fun, it's definitely going to help my XC skills!
There is soooo much racing happening in Brissie and QLD, with five events on the weekend of the 21st April!
Who wants to join me? I'm heading to round two of the gravity enduro series.
I'm riding with a few girls who a new to the sport and keen to race the Sunshine Series XC this year. If you're keen, pm me, and I can try and arrange a women's only ride with fun and skill development focus. You don't have to be super fast, it's an awesome series and good for all levels.
Anyway...enough blibber blabber, let's ride!
Anna

Hey Brisbanites, just a heads up there are heeeeaps of events on this weekend. More info can be found at qldmtb.com.au but a few offerings include;
Gravity enduro at Mt Joyce (do you have skills but can also pedal uphill)
Brisbane South Club's dirt crit (do you like it short, fast and furious? Great track if you're starting out)
Toowoomba Clubs Jubilee Park XC (good old fashioned XC, fabulous track, bring your climbing legs!)
D'aguilar Range Club is having a good old XC bash at Samford (bring your climbing legs)
I'm going to throw myself down the gravity course at MT Joyce, hopefully making it down the runs intact. I'm not sure if I can achieve this but I would love some company while I try!

Awesome to meet Tracy and some other future SR's at the Bike Week Daisy Hill event today. We had almost 40 women! Epic!
Emma (the other organiser) and I will be madly scheming the next day out.

Now that the rain has stopped...any other SR girls out there keen for regular rides? I'm reasonably central in Coorparoo and new to the SE Qld tracks. Looking to enter some events if anyone else is looking for company?
